Mick Wins Bronze At Stage One of National Tour
Congratulations to Mick Lovell who won a bronze medal at Stage One of the Archery GB National Tour on Saturday 30th April, at Lilleshall. This is the first time that Barebow has been included in the National Tour as a separate category and Mick certainly made the most of this! The day presented us with near-perfect weather. This is an excellent start for Mick at the National Tour & we look forward to seeing him compete at others through the season.
We Have County Champions
On Sunday 6th March Archers of Raunds hosted the Northamptonshire County Archery Championships, where five members of Northampton Archery Club competed. They performed with excellent results with Mick Lovell, Paul Hopkins and Denitsa Dimitrova all bring crowned County Champions in their respective divisions, a big congratualtions to them. The full results of all five archers are –
- Barebow Gents – Mick Lovell 1st place
- Barebow Junior Ladies U18 – Denitsa Dimitrova 1st place
- Longbow Gents – Paul Hopkins 1st place
- Recurve Junior Ladies U16 – Lisa Owen 2nd place
- Recurve Gents – Ioannis Chrisinas 10th place

Mick presented with Northamptonshire Tri-Counties barebow trophy
Mick Lovell was recently presented with the Northamptonshire Tri-Counties barebow trophy.
He won this by competing as part of the County Team on 3rd October last year and achieved the highest scoring barebow round in the winning team. Congraulations Mick.
