Having just inspected the field at the Sywell shooting range and considering there is now an end to the heavy rainfall we have seen recently, I can assume that all will be ok to gather at Sywell as planned for the Boxing day shoot.
The field does have surface water in a few places (large puddles,the deepest close to the containers)..but overall the rest of the field is very wet underfoot but so long as we take care with our footing I see no reason to cancel.
Please wear waterproof footwear otherwise it will be very uncomfortable.
