Farewell Vaughan

Vaughan in hatThis week we heard the sad news of the sudden death of one of our members, Vaughan Tucker. Vaughan joined NAC around 2012 having visited us on several occasions as a member of Shenley And Loughton Toxophilists (SALT). Vaughan was born in 1957 and hailed from New Zealand. He came to the UK in 1985. He worked with newspapers most of his life and  loved narrowboats as well as archery. Vaughan also wrote four books. At NAC he was a regular shooter and held club records with his horsebow in the Warwick and Portsmouth Rounds. Vaughan always seemed very laid back and quiet, whilst his dry humour was well enjoyed.  He died suddenly on the 15th March. He will be sadly missed by all at NAC.
