Junior Members (ages 8+)

Junior archer in blue jumper

We currently have lots of Junior club members shooting Longbow, Recurve and Compound. The Junior club shoot alongside the adult club but at shorter distances where appropriate.

You can learn to shoot from about 8 years of age and remain a Junior club member until your 18th birthday. Children under 14 years of age must have a parent or guardian to supervise them during club sessions. See shooting fees and memberships here

The Junior Club is overseen by the main club. Our club has a member designated for Child Protection. See our contacts page for details.

Northampton Archery Club is affiliated to Archery GB, and has adopted and is governed by it’s Safeguarding and Young People Policy. All members of NAC have a responsibility for ensuring that this policy is followed, and any concerns or incidents regarding children, juniors or vulnerable adults must be reported to our Child Protection Officer.
